Background Info:

When I think of what it means to be an art director the first thing that comes to mind is the story behind the ad. I grew up in a small town outside of Pittsburgh. I could spend hours telling you and probably persuading you to come to see the city of bridges for yourself but like my friends say “ok nick enough” I just can’t help it I'm just your local “yinzer” at heart! During my first two years at SCAD, I studied fashion marketing and I couldn’t help but think about the story behind the brand. After long conversations with my friends and family, I took a leap of faith and switched my major to advertising and haven’t looked back since. I can easily say that it was the best decision I ever made, I am able to connect with a brand on such an intimate level and create an ad based on any emotion I feel. Art is everywhere, anyone is able to feel, hear, see and create it if you have the courage to do so.

Favorite Paintings: Le Belle Dame Sans by Frank Dicksee, The Two Crowns by Frank Dicksee, The Coronation by Jacques-Louis David, and The Fall of Phaeton by Sebastiano Ricci  

 

Hobbies: Recently I discovered my love for cooking my favorite dish I’ve made so far is White Wine Cuq Au Vin. Outside of the kitchen, I love spending hours on Netflix trying to find a good true-crime series cuddled up with my dogs of course. I also love painting, spending time with friends and family, and fueling my caffeine addiction with a daily ice coffee run!
